Website Changes

I have been ignoring my website for some time, no real reason, just have. But, I just made some changes to make it a bit easier to navigate. I have also listed prices for the paintings which makes purchasing one much easier. I will be changing the paintings in each of the categories every couple months to keep things fresh, so keep checking back. And check the new 300 Collection, every painting in this collection, regardless of size or media, is only $300.00. I know, I know, the so called art marketing experts say an artist should never discount their work, but what good is art if it is not more accessible to the public? Another no no, is that anyone who buys two paintings from the 300 Collection will get the second one for $200.00.  Also, shipping is free for any painting from any Collection in the lower forty-eight states in the USA, sorry Alaska and Hawaii, and the rest of the world, it's not that I don't like you it's just that you are so darn far away.

I have been asked by a few if I will ever write a book on art. Not sure who would want to read what I have to say and to be honest I'm not sure I have the patience to write one. Plus there are hundreds of ‘how to' books on painting. Do we really need more? But what I hope to do if I can pull my brushes or pastel sticks out if my hand long enough, is to make entries via my blog, not ‘how to' do anything, but just my experiences with the act of painting and reasons for doing what I do. The blog will be posted on my FB Page as well as being sent out as a newsletter. I changed the Blog category some time ago (I just don't like the word Blog) to ‘Journal' but I'm changing it again to ‘An Acre At A Time', the change in title will be explained in the first installment.

My personal goal is to devote more time to my website, but then we all know about ‘best laid plans...', so here is hoping, I'll do my best. Any way, please check out the changes and return often to see the new posted paintings.

Thanks to everyone who has looked at my website or signed up for my newsletter, I know I've been neglectful and appreciate everyone's patciance.
